"Have a friend who has been with state farm over 30 years. His house burned a year ago. State farm was quick to pay half and asked him to make a list of his personal contents that were lost. The list must be submitted on line to a specific link. Not only unable at 70 to understand how to do this, they keep sending him a link that doesn't work. An employee at their office was unable to make the link work. It's been a month now and their solution is to send him the link again. As if the 5 or more attempts that have already been made were not enough. Why isn't there a way that the elderly can easily collect ALL of their money that is due? I see this as extortion and an effort to have frustration make them walk away from thousands they are owed. Anyone can be friendly and helpful while selling you insurance. Too bad they aren't just as friendly and helpful with your claim."
